Recalling renowned 18th century English architect John Nash's Italianate villas, this seaside home employs many of the same 18th century neo gothic plaster friezes, simple white plaster walls, and Venetian terrazzo floors to provide a serene backdrop for antiques purchased for the home in Florence and Milan. The collection is edited and supplemented with boldly scaled upholstered pieces covered in custom designed Italian silk and linen blends. Rich waxed oak paneling and French limestone elements provide warmth and texture.
