Expansive hilltop views of Long Island Sound combined with strong modern architectural forms called for interiors that are self assured, yet deferential. Color is key. The Master Bedroom area rug is a custom design in wool and silk, executed in deep blues to achieve a striking contrast opposite the claro walnut wall. Lighting is arranged along a grid of tubular metal above the dining table for a clean and sculptural effect against the smooth Venetian plaster ceiling.
